Bridges of Hope, LLC is a dual diagnosis treatment facility. We are looking to hire a part-time weekend option night nurse (LPN or RN) to join our team. The part-time position available is weekend nights, 8pm to 8am. We are also looking to add several PRN nurses to our PRN pool. Bridges of Hope, LLC is rapidly growing, thus giving staff the opportunity to grow and advance with the company.
Staff nurses are responsible for implementing nursing services in the medical detoxification and residential programs. These duties include (not limited to):
*Administering medication, treatments, and tests as allowed by law.
*Implementing verbal physician orders and authenticating in writing, within a reasonable
time, and documenting in the patient’s record.
*Communicating with physicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.
*Overseeing patient admission process, TB screening, assessments, obtaining health history, and identifying needs.
*Documenting patient observations/assessments in patient’s record accurately and timely. Obtaining vital signs as scheduled and/or as needed.
*Interacting with patients with compassion to encourage engagement in treatment.
*Maintaining a safe environment.
*Applying infection control techniques and universal precautions.
*Attending mandatory staff meetings.
*Maintaining and demonstrating a current working knowledge of medical procedures and nursing care based on company policy and state and federal guidelines.
*Completing other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
Minimum requirements are as follows:
-Must have a valid Indiana nursing license.
-Must be able to identify problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
-Must be able to deal with chemically dependent individuals non-judgmentally and with caring and compassion.
-Must demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff members.
-Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and in writing.
-Must complete training required by facility.

The main function of the Dietary is to coordinate appropriate client dietary menu planning and oversee daily operations of food preparation. While the chef is directly responsible for establishing and maintaining all standards of quality, conduct, customer service, and productivity within the Dining Services Department, the dietary staff support the chef in this effort. Kitchen assistant (KA) promotes a thorough and continuous understanding among all employees of the importance of the Dining Services Department to the quality of life for clients and staff. The KA ensures that the dietary engages in preparing food, serving food, and maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment and are performing the proper procedures as outlined by state and federal regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include but are not limited to:
Prepare dishes and plate presentation according to company policy and set the example for other cooks
Participate in food ordering, receiving and inventorying when asked by the chef
Adhere to the company’s food safety logs procedures
Possess Serv Safe certification or be willing to obtain upon hire as required by law and company policy
If needed assist in training employees (BHT’s) in best practices prepping, preparing food, as well as proper food temperature
Assist cooking and operating required tools to accomplish service
Clean work area, utensils, dishes, and pots and pans
Run and fill various food service machines
Follow diagrams and lists to prepare client trays to specifications
Interact with clientele in a pleasant manner and handle client complaints
Work with staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen in food production and client satisfaction.
Ability to maintain boundaries while collaborating with clients, alumni, and their families.
Ability to maintain confidential information with tact and discretion beyond HIPAA
Ability to exercise sound judgment when overseeing a variety of issues
